In the warmth of his father’s bakery, young Enrique “Balta” Baltazar learned the art of transformation. Later, from semi-professional soccer to a chemistry degree, his path twisted and turned until the song of tequila called him home. While others age their tequila to mask its identity, Balta stands firm in his devotion to pure, unadorned, unaged spirit. His background in chemistry brings precision to the tradition of tequila distilling, while his baker’s soul adds warmth to science. Each batch is a testament to his philosophy: “Siempre hay tiempo de disfrutar un buen tequila” – there is always time to enjoy a good tequila. In his highland sanctuary, where classical melodies dance through the fermentation room, Balta crafts a blanco so exceptional it speaks for itself.
